Mounting note:
Due to the width of the piece, the upper wooden dowel should be supported at two points when mounted to prevent it from bowing.

Part of my Solar Impressions series, where sunlight, botany, chemistry and the human form come together through light-sensitive processes.

Each textile work is created slowly by hand, using botanical material and hand-cut imagery to build layers of shape, colour and impression. Light becomes part of the making itself, leaving traces that can never be completely controlled or repeated.

The textile works move between the luminous colours of Day and the deeper blue tones of Night. Each piece is a unique original, shaped by its individual exposure, materials and process.

Particular care is given to the finishing of each work. The textile is carefully prepared and finished by hand and mounted on solid oak dowels, transforming the fabric into a complete wall piece ready to hang.
